On the 15th November 2009 on Bridge Field in West Bridgford, Edwalton Football Club will be hosting a Wembley Wonder Shot Challenge. 138 junior members of the club aged 6 to 13 will be asked to shoot as hard as they can inside a giant inflatable Wembley Stadium. A radar camera will measure how hard they can kick the ball. Each player will receive a medal and certificate for their efforts and a trophy will be awarded to the hardest shot in each age group. After the junior members have all had a go the club officials and coaches will try their luck against the camera and try to win the hardest shot trophy for coaches, while trying to avoid winning the wooden boot. Finally the 34 players from the two senior teams will be having a go. After the weakest shot in the senior teams has been found the challenge will open up for any parents or members of the public to have a go and find out how hard they can kick a football.
