Welcome to a new year with Edwalton football club. We are sorry to see our oldest youth team disband this year, it would seem that teenagers have more important things to do with their time these days! Good luck to them all whatever their venture and big thanks to Steve and Lee for doing everything in their power to get a team together. Let’s all look forward to a season as successful as last year.
On a lighter note August 8th 2010 sees the inaugural Senior 5 a side tournament take place. A chance for the young players to come and laugh at their coaches/dads trying to turn back the years. The interest is very high with all sorts of teams entering, from ex pros to old unfit layabouts. There will be kids entertainment, food, and a bar, Raffle, Aerobics and hopefully Trent FM. Come down and support it will be a fantastic. day. (more info)
